HELPING TO BUILD A HIGHER QUALITY OF LIFE.

Join us in making a difference for those in need.
At Chatman Community Development Center, our mission is to help individuals achieve and sustain a higher quality of life, through resources and various training opportunities. It is our belief that one organization can't effectively meet all of the needs in our community. However, if we focus on doing one thing well and utilize established services of other organizations, we can make a difference in the lives of women and children with an emphasis on families.
CCDC's ultimate long range goal is to purchase or build a building for long term housing for women, children and families. Individuals and families in long term housing participate in structured programs aimed at self-sufficiency and rebuilding lives and the family unit.
CCDC's short term program phase will concentrate on women transitioning into society from military, incarceration, and other dysfunctional environments.
CCDC's program philosophy is conservative. The staff at CCDC works to empower their clients to live a life of self-sufficiency. This is accomplished through productive activities, education and encouragement.
CCDC Transitional Program offers specialized services and referrals to individuals based on their needs. Each individual develops goals with his/her assigned mentor and will establish a service plan.
Ty had a heart of compassion for single mothers as herself. She had a vision to empower women to be confident in their potential no matter the circumstances. Her colleagues in the U.S. and around the world respected and admired her tenacity and integrity.
Ty passed away at 34 years old on December 15, 2014. She leaves to cherish her life her father, mother, brother, sister and the love of her life, her 3 year old son, CHRISTIAN.
It is her memory that we will fulfill her dream to make a difference in the lives of women, children and families.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission.
